Senior Designer required for progressive Design consultancy.

We need a Senior packaging Designer with experience working on Tobacco Projects.

The projects range from brand rejuvenations, limited editions packs, communication campaigns and even an internal communication platform. Ranging from large global brands, all the way to smaller specialist brands and newer products to help consumers move away from traditional tobacco.

The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of brands beyond packaging. While branded packaging remains our core area of expertise, we are increasingly receiving requests from clients who value our ability to demonstrate broader ideas that extend beyond packaging and encompass communication and activation.

It is crucial that the candidate has a good understanding of the category codes and semiotics within the tobacco industry and beyond. A good demonstration of crafting brands that live and breathe in very small canvas sizes and within a highly a regulated industry would be necessary.

Standard requirements.

•           Confidence and natural drive to interact and present to clients
•           Have a positive attitude and effectively lead and manage the        junior members of the creative team
•           Clear written and verbal communication skills
•           Strong inter-personal skills allied with the ability to negotiate and influence
•           An understanding of the wider commercial/strategic opportunities.
•           Attend briefing sessions externally with the client and internally with team members
•           Help build presentations, or sections of, where appropriate.
•           Help with planning and prioritising individual deadlines and workloads whilst ensuring timings and budgets are adhered to
